About Us

Dania Lopez Ramirez is a bilingual, licensed speech language pathologist with a certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech and Hearing Association (ASHA). She served on the licensing board of Florida where she helped create guidelines and regulations for speech-language pathology.

Miami Center for Speech Language Pathology has been serving patients in the South Florida area since 1999.

Our speech and language clinic is made up of the director, Dania Lopez-Ramirez MS CCC-SLP/FSL, who takes great pride in providing our community with high quality, patient-centric educational care, and therapy. She works with children in schools, clinics, and home-based programs for 25 years with that idea in mind. She obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Communication Disorders in 1991 and a Masters of Science in Communication Disorders in 1993. Her extensive clinical experience includes early intervention, articulation, phonological disorders, language delays and disorders, auditory processing deficits, and oral and verbal apraxia. Dania is Hanen-certified and has furthered her education with training in PECS and Fast Forward. She collaborates with numerous parents, teachers, staff members, and international clients in various topics related to communication deficits. Dania also serves as a mentor developing and supervising emerging speech pathologists. Her practice continues to thrive through her exclusive individualized approach to treatment. Dania holds a certificate of clinical competence in speech and language pathology from the American Speech Language Hearing Association (ASHA) and is currently licensed to work in the state of Florida.
 

Speech and language services offered by Miami Center for Speech Language Pathology include consultations, screenings, evaluations,

pre-school readiness assessment, and therapy for toddlers, preschoolers, and school-age children.
