Assessments
Based on your child’s age and the parental concern
Assessments may be done at the center or at specific schools. Assessment procedures will be chosen based on
the child’s age and parental concern.
A formal evaluation will allow the speech language pathologist to diagnose if there is a delay, disorder or language difference. Formal assessments will provide strengths and weaknesses which will allow for specific recommendations. A therapy plan will then be created with specific goals and objectives.

Parent interview, clinician observation, and standardized and/or non-standardized testing tools will be used to evaluate your child’s overall speech and language development.
